Curtain Wall brackets once access to the floor is available, Our site installers will carry out a site survey to check tolerance of concrete structure and condition of the concrete at the bracket fixing locations that may affect the performance of the drilled anchors. Any faults shall be notified the main contractor for rectification prior to commencement of bracket installation.
All Datum’s and gridlines shall be provided by the main contractor at the perimeter of the floor. Ours site installers will mark bracket locations at the centre line of each unit joint and for the setting of the sill height of each unit in relation to the floor datum level. The brackets are installed to the marked positions with M12 masonry anchors. The brackets can be adjusted, to ensure alignment to the curtain wall unit, via the slotted holes and serrated washers. Once the brackets are aligned the anchors are torque to the appropriate setting. Monmin shall check the brackets to ensure correct position, that anchors have been correctly tightened and that serrated washers have been set correctly.
The pallets are transferred and opened with every unit lifted out with a mechanical hoist and lowered onto a trolley. The unit is wheeled to the edge of the building and a lifting bar attached to the cable on the crane. (A crane with a ‘single phase’ electric motor is provided by Monmin a minimum of 4 floors above the floor being installed).
The unit is hauled up from the opening, then lowered to be connected with the unit previously installed on the floor below, and slid sideways to engage with the panel previously installed next to it. Before the head sction is leveled, the structural splice is slid across from the unit beside it. The crane is detached, then proceed to the next unit being installed.
Outer splice/flashing is applied to the head connection to the adjacent panel, bed on sealant and thoroughly seal edges of splice. Also, apply sealant to the structural splice/flashing thoroughly sealing the perimeter and the internal vertical joint at head section joint. Upon completion, clean down the curtain wall internally & externally.
In this global village, glass is increasingly on demand for facades of the modern high raised buildings. Nevertheless, local industry has grown rapidly to meet the challenge of providing with high quality by implementing the latest technology.
Monmin has chosen leading suppliers in this field, providing insulating glass to serve the purpose of thermal and aeoustic control of the internal building environments, heat treated glass to ensure resistance to stresses imposed in service, and fully tempered glass to assists in safety.
Monmin holds the commitment to provide client’s exact requirements, and to facilitate this the division operates its own team of technical advisory service where architects, consultants, designers and fabricators can determine which glass products altered to meet the performance, aesthetic and budget criteria laid down for any given project.

Our coated materials conforms to international standards such as AAMA 2606, 2604, 2603, BS A842 & 6496, ASCA 96
Powder coating is polyester based specially developed for external use in the building industry. The product satisfies the most stringent demands concerning color stability, gloss retention, and corrosion resistance. In addition to architectural metalwork, it can also be used advantageously in other areas where exterior durability, color stability or heat resistance are primary concerns
